Founder & Director

Loss and grief are inherent to the human experience. These are incredibly difficult experiences that we all inevitably face throughout our lives.

At our lab we explore grief and bereavement processes following death and non-death losses. Our research mainly focuses on loss related to illness (i.e. breast cancer, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and more).

We look at how people cope with loss and how their grief manifests itself. We also pay special attention to under-researched populations and disenfranchised grief.
